On the Spot - This is an incredible movie starting with the beautiful animation and sweetly realistic lighting effects of the background and its characters. This movie is divided into three episodes; Okasho, Cosmonaut, and Byosoku 5 centimeter. Centering around the life of a kid named Takaki, Akari and Kanae, this movie relates to the experiences of many who find a certain someone whom they feel a deep connection to, and due to a series of unfortunate events drifts apart and moves on with their own lives. The essential concept of this is movie is the emotions felt, as the characters drift apart and their inner pain when the person they have feelings for gets farther from their grasp, since almost every person has felt the same thing for someone they know at a certain point in their life. I know it seems like a lot of "drama" and usually a lot of people go for the bam bam boom boom and then something explodes while the main characters run away in an ultra super cool slow motion scene making you want to yell Sparta!, but once in a while its always nice to keep in touch with the marshmallow in you and let your sensitive side enjoy your movie seat.
